If you haven't heard of HOBY (pronounced "hoe-bee"), you are in for a treat! Though we have a long 32-year history in Arizona, we are mostly known to high schools across the state. This is because we partner with the schools to find the students that would benefit the most from our programs.
Our main, 4-day leadership program held on the campus of Arizona State University is offered to high school sophomores who are nominated by their school. Students are chosen through their demonstrated leadership potential, a formal leadership essay, an application and final approval by their school administrators.
It's a wonderful honor to be chosen to represent your high school at the HOBY leadership program!
We have over 40% of Arizona high schools participating in HOBY programs and we always have the room for more schools! So if your school is unfamiliar with HOBY, please contact us!
